Veneers are a porcelain coating that dentist puts on top of your teeth. The average person cannot afford the thousands of dollars it would take to get veneers put on their teeth so that means that we have to get white teeth from a different method.
There are a lot of different methods you can try to get white teeth with one of the more common being baking soda and peroxide. You need the mix the two until you get a tooth paste consistency and brush your teeth with it and leave it on for two minutes.
After you rinse your mouth brush your teeth with regular toothpaste in order to get the rest of the baking soda paste off of your teeth. The theory behind this is that the baking soda will gently scrub your teeth while the peroxide will bleach them.
It is strongly recommended that you avoid this method if you have any other dental problems other then yellow teeth.
If you’re going to use the baking soda and peroxide mixture to get white teeth make sure you do not use this method more than once a month because the baking sodas grittiness can rub the enamel off of your teeth.
Also using peroxide too often can hurt your gums. Peroxide actually kills your white blood cells when it is applied so overuse can reduce your gums ability to heal.
The safest method to get white teeth without visiting your dentist is to get an at home teeth whitening kit.
